Ανακοινώθηκαν οι φετινές υποψηφιότητες για τα βραβεία Emmy, τα οποία θα πραγματοποιηθούν στις 12 Σεπτεμβρίου, χωρίς να έχει γίνει γνωστό μέχρι στιγμής ποιος θα τα παρουσιάσει, με το Stranger Things να είναι ανάμεσα στις σειρές με τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες.
Πρώτο στις υποψηφιότητες βρίσκεται το «Succession», ενώ ακολουθούν το «Ted Lasso» και το «White Lotus».
Στη συνέχεια, βρίσκεται το «Hacks», το «Only Murders in the Building» και το «Euphoria».
Το Stranger Things του Netflix, με την 4η σεζόν να σπάει κάθε ρεκόρ, συγκέντρωσε 13 υποψηφιότητες.
Αντιδράσεις προκάλεσε στο Twitter το γεγονός ότι κανείς από τους ηθοποιούς δεν είναι υποψήφιος, ούτε καν η Μαξ (κατά κόσμον Σέιντι Σινκ) παρά την συγκλονιστική της ερμηνεία.
